Submission Process

EDUCON 2024 Submission Process (1) (1).png

SUBMIT ABSTRACT

Authors are invited to submit an Abstract (300 - 500 words) in the following tracks:

  • Full Paper
  • Short Paper
  • Work-in-Progress (WIP)

An abstract submission implies a willingness to submit the complete full paper, short paper, or work-in-progress if the abstract is accepted.

INITIAL FULL PAPER PREPARATION

Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit original research of a theoretical or applied nature in one of the following formats, using the online submission system EDAS:

  • Full Paper (maximum 10 pages)
  • Short paper (maximum 5 pages)
  • Work-in-Progress (maximum 3 pages)

The submission should summarize the scope of the research, include primary results and findings, and emphasize new advances, theories or applications, so that the originality and implication of the research are clear. Papers that do not follow this format will be rejected as will papers above the specified limit.

A submission implies a willingness to register and present the work if the paper is accepted for presentation at the conference. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Authors of accepted papers must submit the final version by the deadline in the required format, register, and present it at the conference.

The IEEE Style Guide and Conference Paper Templates in various formats are available here

**EDUCON 2025 will implement a double-blind review process. Please ensure your manuscripts are fully anonymized before uploading. No author or affiliation information should be present in your uploaded document.

CREATE AUTHOR ACCOUNT

Each lead author must visit the EDAS website and establish an account with a username and password.

  1. Visit the EDUCON 2025 Submission Portal and click the link to create a new account, if you do not already have an account. If you have an account, log in to EDAS and follow the Submission of Full Paper instructions below.
  2. Create your profile. Only the five fields with the red asterisk are required. *It is very important that your name and affiliation associated with your EDAS account are correct and match the name and affiliation that will be listed on your paper. These fields are first & last name, affiliation (company or organization), country, e-mail address, and status. When the fields are filled in, check the Privacy Policies box and click the Add Person button.    [note: if you select the USA as the country, you will get a message asking for your state]
  3. You will receive an e-mail containing your password. Your email address and the given password must later be used to access the system during the following steps, so be careful to remember them.
  4. You can then return to the EDAS log-in page (http://www.edas.info) and change your assigned password to one that is easier to remember. To do this, click on the My Profile tab, and then click on change your password. Be sure to record your username, password, and ID number for later reference.
